Some Views of "God's Own Country"

Here are a selection of views of the highlands of SCOTLAND.  I hope you like them.  I have literally hundreds more and will attempt to change the views on a regular basis.

If you have never been do try and visit my country but be warned it can be wet.  For a first visit I would recommend a touring\bed and breakfast type holiday, or if you wish to be based in one place the area around Newtonmore, Kingussie, Aviemore is good and central allowing visits to the more spectacular west though wetter coast or the dry and almost as beautiful east.

It is also worth finding out a bit of the history, geography etc. before you come and at the end of this page you will find some books that I have found particularly good

The following Photographs are all of Mull, Iona & Staffa.  Of all the Inner Isles of the West Coast, Mull is my favourite.  Mind you Islay is pretty good too, and as for Skye, but not forgetting of course Eigg and then there's .......  Why don't you visit and decide for yourself!!??!!

The following books are unfortunately all out of print as far as I am aware, but a troll of second hand book shops may produce a result.   If not I can recommend Domhall MacCormaig - Specialist in Old Scottish Books - 19 Braid Crescent, Edinburgh EH14 6AX Tel: 0131 447 2889.
